The work to be done consists, in general of installing storm drain system, guard rail and shoulder widening on Western Avenue with associated flagging and traffic control required to construct the work, and such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed.

Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Room 100A, 575 Administration Drive, Santa Rosa, California 95403 on November 24, 2009,, until the hour of 2:00 p.m. (according to the wall clock in the reception area of the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors). They then will be transferred to a predetermined meeting room designated by the Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Works where they will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Sonoma County Director of Transportation and Public Works or his designee. The Sonoma County Director of Public Works will review the bids and refer the bids to the Board of Supervisors to consider awarding the project within 30 days of bid opening.

Penngrove Sidewalk Improvements Under Construction C04012

General Work Description: The work to be done consists, in general:
The work to be done consists, in general of pedestrian facility improvements along the west side of Main Street in the town of Penngrove from the intersection of Old Redwood Highway to the intersection with Adobe Road. Curb, gutter, and sidewalk will be installed on the westerly side of the road where it does not currently exist. Where possible, ten foot wide sidewalks will be installed adjacent to existing store fronts, with five foot wide sidewalks elsewhere. Existing sidewalk and curb ramps will be modified to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Utility facilities will be relocated or adjusted, and such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the Standard Specifications, or the Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed.

Roadway: The work to be done consists, in general of placement of polymer modified asphalt rubber chip seal, on various County Roads together with associated flagging and traffic control required to construct the work, and such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed.

Bridge: The work to be done consists, in general of cleaning expansion joints and replacing joint seals, cleaning bridge decks, treating bridge decks with methacrylate resin, repairing spalled concrete, and removing remnants of an original epoxy overlay at various locations, and such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed.

Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Room 100A, 575 Administration Drive, Santa Rosa, California 95403 on August 20 August 26, 2009,, until the hour of 3:00 2:30 p.m. (according to the wall clock in the reception area of the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors). They then will be transferred to a predetermined meeting room designated by the Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Works where they will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Sonoma County Director of Transportation and Public Works or his designee. The Board of Supervisors has authorized the Director of Transportation and Public Works to award the project.
