| Bid Date: April 23, 2002 Brief Description: The work to be done consists, in general, of constructing the next phase of the Central Landfill East Canyon Expansion (Part 2 of Phases I/II). The Part 2 expansion lies immediately adjacent to the to-be-operating Part 1 area of the landfill. The work will include approximately 395,000 cubic yards of earth work, including approximately 35,000 cubic yards of hard rock drilling and blasting, expansion of ageosynthetic liner system, leachate and collection system piping, drainage improvements, roadways,abandonment of groundwater wells, and placement of erosion control. Per Addendum #1: The mandatory pre-bid meeting has been rescheduled for 10:00 a.m.,Tuesday, April 9, 2002 at the Central Landfill Headquarters Building, 500 Mecham Road, Petaluma, CA. Site development will consist of grading and paving a roadway around the existing 6.0MW power plant, installing underground conduit banks and utilities to two separate foundations, excavating and placing the concrete foundations for two separate40-foot-long sea containers. | BID Opening: NOVEMBER 28, 2001 Brief Description: *Note: This document is a Request for Proposal NOT an Invitation to Bid. The County is soliciting proposals to establish an Operated Equipment Rental Contract between the successful Contractor and the County of Sonoma. Contractor shall provide the County with the necessary equipment and operators as described in the RFP for the term of one (1) year, with two (2) additional one(1) year extensions if agreed upon by both the County of Sonoma and the Contractor. Work shall include but not be limited to: construction of drainage and sediment control facilities, landfill slopes,access roads, aprons, and leachate collection facilities.
