Airport Runway 14-32 Surface Treatment and Pavement Marking Bid Under Review  W07504

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The work to be done, consists, in general of rejuvenating the Runway 14-32 by surface treatment and application of rejuvenator seal and marking the pavement after seal coat has cured.  

OPTIONAL PRE-BID WALK-THROUGH:  A pre-bid conference and walk-through is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., May 21, 2007. The conference will be held in the Airport Fire Station, 2290 Airport Boulevard, Santa Rosa, CA.  All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.  Representatives of the County and Mead & Hunt will be present to discuss the project, receive questions, and conduct a tour of the Airport.  At all other times, Contractor access onto the Airport must be coordinated and supervised by County personnel.  County personnel are available on a limited basis.  Contact the Airport Managers office at (707) 565-7243 to schedule airfield visits.

Sealed bids will be received by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Room 100A, 575 Administration Drive, Santa Rosa, California, 95403, until 2:00 p.m., as determined by the clock on the wall of the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, on June 11 June 18, 2007, at which time they will be transferred to the Board Caucus Room,  where they will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Sonoma County Director of Transportation and Public Works or his designee.  Said bids will be referred to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors for consideration after evaluation by Department of Transportation and Public Works staff.
