Current Airport Projects

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This project location is the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport. The work to be done consists, in general of expanding and renovating the passenger terminal.

OPTIONAL PRE-BID WALK-THROUGH:A pre-bid conference and walk-through is scheduled 1:30 p.m., March 25, 2009. The conference will be held in the Airport Office, 2290 Airport Boulevard, Santa Rosa. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Representatives of the County and Mead & Hunt will be present to discuss the project, receive questions, and conduct a tour of the Airport. At all other times, Contractor access onto the Airport must be coordinated and supervised by the County; County staff is only available on a limited basis. Contact the Airport Manager’s office at (707) 565-7243 to schedule airfield visits.

Sealed bids will be received by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Room 100A, 575 Administration Drive, Santa Rosa, California, 95403, until 3:00 p.m., as determined by the clock on the wall of the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, on April 8 April 22 April 29, 2009 at which time they will be transferred to the Board Caucus Room where they will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Sonoma County Director of Transportation and Public Works or his designee. Said bids will be referred to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors for consideration after evaluation by the Department of Transportation and Public Works staff.
