ADDENDUM NO. 2

 I.    Changes to Special Provisions: 

      A.  Page 2, “NOTICE INVITING BIDS” the “DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES:” DBE goal shall be nine percent (9%). 

      B.   Page 3, “NOTICE INVITING BIDS” the “CONTRACTOR’S LICENSE:” ..”State of California Class A or Class C13 license...”  

      C.  Division II, “SECTION 2. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS” the paragraph 2-1.11 “DBE GOAL FOR THIS PROJECT”, modify second paragraph “Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE): nine percent (9%).” 

      D.  Division IV, “Miscellaneous Provisions for Airport Construction” Section 1-1.1C. “General Access Control”, Clarification. The integrity of the fence system shall be maintained at all times while working in areas 3A through 4C, 7A and 7B.  Areas 5A through 6C, 8A and 8B fence integrity is not required, but Contractor’s sound judgment and coordination with County is expected. 

      E.   General Clarifications

            1.   The Engineer’s Estimate is $500,000.00.

            2.   No spreading of tree waste products will be allowed in “ESA” areas on the plans.

            3.  The Contractor shall notify the County 48 hours in advance for the locating and marking of County Utilities.

            4.  The County has staked the approximate location of the new fence in areas where it deviates from the existing fence.  The Contractor is responsible for providing layout of new fence line location.  All existing fence that is being replaced by new fence, regardless of offset distance, shall be removed and shall be considered incidental to the project. 

Please fill out the Acknowledgment of Addendum on “BID SCHEDULE” (Proposal Forms) verifying your receipt of this Addendum (Addendum No. 2).
