Welcome to the Sonoma County Strategic Planning Web SiteOn December 11, the Board of Supervisors adopted the final version of the Sonoma County Strategic Plan. The Plan is the result of a process initiated by the Board in December 2005 in response to the various changes and challenges facing the County. The staff report to the Board of Supervisors and the final version of the Sonoma County Strategic Plan are available. The final version of the Strategic Plan follows several months of public comment on a Draft Plan adopted by the Board on August 7, 2007. Video is available of the Board discussion that day. The public comments are summarized in a report prepared by The Results Group, which coordinated that effort on behalf of the County. As part of the Strategic Planning process, the County conducted an extensive Analysis Phase to examine major County trends, challenges, and opportunities, and a Planning Phase to provide recommendations on how to address the findings from the Analysis Phase. This site provides access to the Strategic Plan, the Summary of Findings from the Analysis Phase, and information on how to provide input and ask questions. We welcome your input and appreciate your interest and participation.
