The pilot phase of the expanded Sonoma Green Business Program launched
in November 2007, and a diverse group of local businesses are currently
engaged in the certification process. Under the former Sonoma Green Business
Program – a voluntary compliance program for the automotive, graphic
arts, and winery industries coordinated by the Department of Emergency
Services – 165 businesses were certified. Please note that the former
Sonoma Green Business Program is no longer accepting applicants and all
organizations interested in achieving Green Business certification must
meet the 
standards of the expanded Sonoma Green Business Program.
