PRMD Home Page Guide

On July 1, 2008 PRMD launched a redesign of our Internet site home page.  The changes include new colors and graphics, but more importantly, improved navigation to the most used areas of the PRMD site.

Here is a brief description of the various elements. If you have questions or comments we would like to hear from you.

	ActiveMap is new service that will allow the public to view PRMD land use, zoning and other maps over the Internet.  The public will be able to research many PRMD data sets for properties within unincorporated Sonoma County in a flexible, easy-to-use map-like product
	PRMD contracts with Accela Inc. to allow licensed contractors to apply for simple permits over the Internet.  Follow this link to find out how.
	Search permit history for an Assessor’s Parcel Number or an address.  All permits with an application date of July 5, 1995 and later are in our system. Many earlier permits are also in the system.
	Access forms, applications and informational handouts. Many forms can be filled out online.
	Meetings, agenda, minutes and staff reports for Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Adjustments and other PRMD boards.
	Consolidated calendar of all PRMD regularly scheduled board and commission meetings and hearings.

The What’s New items are current topics of interest to PRMD customers.  They will change periodically as new items come up.  Users can subscribe to this area and receive an email when new items are added.

This area highlights information or services that are important and of interest to PRMD customers.

This is a new area in which we answer specific questions from users by consolidating information from different parts of the site to address a particular issue.
