Encroachment Fees

Fee determinations are based on a number of variables.

Encroachment Permit variables include;

What type of encroachment is involved?

Driveway, landscaping, fencing, signs, curb & gutter, sidewalk, roadway widening, etc.

Is the excavation work inside or outside the paved portion of the road?
What is the length of the excavation?
Will drainage review be required?

Transportation Permit fees are based on guidelines adopted by the State of California.

Special Event Permits are based on the number of days the event will use a county road.

Due to the complexity of these determinations, it is unwise to make assumptions until the full scope of a project is determined by PRMD Staff at the time an application is accepted.

Please do not fill in amounts on checks prior to application acceptance.
