Park and Facilities Updates (updated July 2007)

Abalone season is closed for the month of July. North Coast parks open at 7:00am during July For more information, visit The California Department of Fish and Game.

The dog park at Ernie Smith Community Park is open to the public as of April 1st.

Walk-On Beach - The access to the beach is currently closed. Plans for repairs are in progress.

Spring Lake Regional Park's campground, swimming lagoon and concession are open daily for the summer season.

Wohler Bridge Fishing Access is closed May 15 until October 1, 2007.

Day use parking fees will increase for the summer season to $6 per vehicle at Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach, Spring Lake Park, Doran Park and Westside Park beginning May 26, 2007.

Warm weather brings a higher fire danger and increases occurrence of rattlesnakes, ticks and poison oak. Use caution when enjoying the parks.
