Recent Volunteer Projects
On September 20th Eagle Scout Nathan Ralls and members of his Boy Scout Troop worked on the Creekside trail in Shiloh Ranch Regional Park. They cleared the slough that had built up over the last 10 years and created several turnouts. Doing this needed work it now allows people, bicyclists and equestrians to safely pass on the trail.
September 30th saw thirty high school students with Tomorrows Leaders Today arrive at Riverfront Regional Park. Ranger Jesse Cablk showed them around the park and gave them a little history lesson about this unique park. Then he and other park employees supervised the students doing projects such as mulching plants, cutting redwood suckers, and defining a walking path.
