Over the years the Latino Health Forum has been an important medical conference in Sonoma County, continually addressing timely issues that affect the specific health care and acculturation needs of our Latino community.

The goal of the Latino Health Forum is to inform professionals about some of the most relevant problems facing the Latino population in Sonoma County; to encourage students and individuals to pursue careers in health and medicine; and to facilitate networking among healthcare providers. This year the focus is on social and economic factors, such as housing, employment, education, environment and race which impact and affect health, access, and quality of care. Our hope is to inspire, heighten awareness, and encourage a call to action to attendees around community responsibility for our personal health and the health of Sonoma County residents.
