HIV Testing and Prevention
Confidential HIV testing in Sonoma County is now more widely available than ever before!
Get tested by your regular doctor or primary care provider.
As of January 2009, California law allows medical providers to bill insurance for HIV tests as they would for any other health screening. If you are a Kaiser member, you may go directly to the lab and request an HIV test without a prescription from your doctor.
Call the Public Health Clinic at 565-4820 to schedule an HIV test as part of a STD screening panel.
Contact Drug Abuse Alternatives Center (DAAC).
DAAC provides drop-in confidential or anonymous HIV and Hepatitis C testing at low or no cost at 2403 Professional Drive, Santa Rosa, 95403 every Monday from 12-5:30. Other hours are also available on Friday evenings. You do not have to be a treatment client to receive testing services at DAAC. You can call 544-3295 x342 for more information.
Contact your local community-based organization or clinic.
