Project ReConnect Advocate Training
Why Training of Project ReConnect Advocates Is Important
Project ReConnect Advocates are the ambassadors of the Project ReConnect philosophy to the broader community. Those in the AIDS service field sometimes forget that there are still lots of questions and a lack of knowledge in the general community about HIV/AIDS and what those living with HIV need. Well-trained Project ReConnect Advocates can confront these questions and concerns with tack and clarity. ReConnect Advocates are the ambassadors for Project ReConnect. They provide an important link to bringing AIDS services along with an understanding of HIV/AIDS into the broader community.
