Event Description
At this presentation, home visitors will learn to:
- Recognize the range of distress and/or mood disorders during pregnancy and in the postpartum period
- Refresh your knowledge and comfort with active listening skills
- Understand the use of and practice with the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale
- Learn skills for self-care and skills to teach families for stress management
Lunch is included.
Accreditation
This program is provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP12787, for four (4)) Contact Hour, awarded by the County of Sonoma, Department of Health Services.
Course meets the qualifications for 4 hours of continuing education credit for MFT's and/or LCSW's as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Provider #PCE2834.
Attendees must sign the attendance sheet and complete the evaluation form before a course certificate will be issued.
