The referenced site is under the oversight of this Department for investigation and cleanup of a petroleum release from underground storage tank(s). Pursuant to California Code of Regulations Title 23, Division 3, Chapter 16, Article 11, Section 2728 and to Department policy, public participation notice is hereby made of the following pending action on the referenced site.

DEFINITIONS:

Site Addition to the Leaking Underground Storage Tank Program
This site is being added to the LUST program because of a reported fuel release.  Investigation and cleanup is required.

Pending Corrective Action
A Corrective Action Plan for the listed site has been submitted to this Department and is either being considered for acceptance, or has already been accepted.

Pending Site Closure
This Department intends to close the investigation and cleanup of the referenced site upon State Regional Board closure concurrence. The destruction of monitoring wells, disposal of contaminated materials, and other tasks associated with the investigation and cleanup of the site may still be necessary prior to closure.

The above noted action may be taken after 30 days of the date of this notice if this Department does not receive comment giving cause to not proceed. The public is advised to contact the site caseworker noted above of any reason or reasons the action noted above should not be taken. This Department will review the merits of all comments received within 30 days of this notification and take measures to halt or modify the proposed action if warranted.
