- Business Assistance Guide
The Sonoma County Business Assistance Guide (BAG) is for small business
owners and managers. The information is directed to sole proprietorships
and general partnerships. Larger companies, limited partnerships and
corporations usually have experienced staff or hire professionals to
research and work with the agencies involved in meeting requirements
for new business start-ups, relocations, and change of business ownership.

This regulation guide is a work-in-progress and some of the information
may become outdated or inaccurate soon after it is posted to this site.
Although useful as a general educational guide to what laws and regulations
may affect your business, it is up to you to investigate and determine
whether the operation of your business is in compliance. We recommend
that you contact the proper agencies directly to ensure your business
meets the operating requirements for your particular location.

HealthySonoma provides information on the health of Sonoma County and includes an extensive library of proven best practices for building a healthy community, national health news, local resources in the area including 211, and an event calendar containing information about community events, farmer’s markets, hikes, and health classes in the area. The extensive amount of information is organized by topic and divided by the county’s zip codes.

Guide
The Sonoma County International Resource Guide is a listing
of non-profit organizations in Sonoma County seeking to enhance and
promote greater international awareness and participation throughout
the community.

The staff of the EDB provides support and assistance to businesses located
in or relocating to Sonoma County. In partnership with all the Cities
and the local business community of Sonoma County, the EDB can help
businesses take full advantage of all that Sonoma County has to offer.
