Mobilehome Space Rental Assistance Program

The Mobilehome Space Rent Assistance Program (MSRAP) subsidizes the space rent of very-low income seniors, persons with disabilities and families who own their own mobilehome and pay for space rent.  MSRAP was designed and implemented by the Community Development Commission in 1996.  Assistance is limited to $200 per month towards the monthly space rent.

In order to be eligible under the Mobilehome Space Rent Assistance Program, you must:

  1. Be an owner occupant of a mobilehome located within the County of Sonoma, excluding the incorporated City of Santa Rosa,
  2. Be a household where either the head, spouse, or sole member is 62+, OR have at least one minor under age 18, OR be a disabled, single person, who is a United States citizen or an eligible immigrant,
  3. Have a total household income lower than the income limits for your family size (see the waiting list announcement link at the bottom of this page for more information).

The Commission is unable to estimate how long you will have to wait for assistance due to the length of the Waiting List and the slow turnover in the mobilehome assistance program.

Placement on the Waiting List will be based on need and not on a first come, first served basis.  Assistance will be granted first to the lowest income applicants.

When your name reaches the top of the Waiting List you will be asked to submit necessary documentation to determine your eligibility for assistance.
