This Residential Construction Handbook was compiled to assist the public in the permitting process and provide as much technical information as possible in one reference manual. The Permit and Resource Management Department has worked diligently on the Residential Construction Handbook striving to maintain the goals set forth in our mission statement. We believe that the Residential Construction Handbook provides the public with valuable information and assistance. This edition is published to incorporate the 2007 California Building Codes.

Printed versions are available for purchase at PRMD at a cost of $20.00 per copy. If you have any comments and/or suggestions about content like you would like to see included in future revisions, please contact Paul Marquez.
