County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor's Office
This office maintains Real Property records such as deeds, financing documents and maps. Site includes information on recording requirement and fee schedules, information on records searches and much more.

Permit & Resource Management
This department issues building permits, performs building site inspections and verifies construction according to code in Sonoma County. This website includes extensive zoning code documentation.

Treasurer-Tax Collector
Responsible for the collection of Secured Property Taxes, Supplemental Property Taxes and Unsecured Property Taxes and the collection of Transient Occupancy Taxes in Sonoma County.

Auditor-Controller's Office
The Auditor creates the property tax receivables, calculates tax rates as well as calculating the tax allocations to jurisdictions. This department also maintains the property tax charges and distributes tax receipts.
